At the Biggs clinic, Dr. Tanner cares for patients and families affected by a broad spectrum of neurodegenerative diseases and other disorders affecting cognition. He also leads multidisciplinary clinics to provide comprehensive care for patients and families affected by Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and by Early-Onset Dementia (typically those with symptoms onset before age 65 or with a known genetic causes). He strives to provide the highest possible quality of care, as he and his family searched for when caring for a family member affected by Alzheimer’s disease.   

Dr. Tanner’s research broadly focuses on the clinical translation and use of biomarkers to improve early detection, accurate diagnosis, and care for families affected by neurodegenerative diseases.  He is also engaged in global neurology and the use of biomarkers to improve care in resource-limited settings.
